FINDING STILLNESS IN A SEA OF CHANGE

FINDING STILLNESS IN A SEA OF CHANGE

The world has changed. There is not doubt about that. However, I welcome you to use this time to reflect on the important things in life. Love, health, freedom, in essence - life's simple pleasures. We are so caught up in life's daily noise that at times we end up living lives on autopilot. So many plans, deadlines, and stress we put on ourselves that at the end means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things.

As a human race we are being forced to stop. Our interconnection with each other has never been so prevalent. Our survival is being tested by our humanity and empathy for one another. We are all equally responsible for each other and in a unique moment in time no religion, race, social or economic status can divide us.

Life is a constant state of change, therefore, we must learn to be resilient and react  with reason and logic. If we act from a place of fear, we will manifest more fear and negative energy. If we act from a place of peace and love we will all defeat this common enemy and reclaim our freedom.

But how can one stay at peace when there is chaos all around? Right? Well, I'm going to tell you. By remembering these three simple truths:

- You cannot control others, you can only control yourself.

- Just because there is negativity all around you, it does not mean that energy belongs to you.

- Struggle builds character, character defines who you are, when you find out who you are and what you are capable of enduring life becomes limitless.

We are experiencing history in the making. So let's make future generations proud and handle the obstacles to come with a clear mind, grace and love. Care for your neighbor as if they were your family. Cherish someones love and caring because this is one of life's most precious gifts. Let go of pride and ego, it serves you no purpose. Set aside differences and use this time to free yourself from negative emotions that only bring you sadness and anger.  And most importantly, value the gift that is life and everything that comes with it.
